Google Drive + PostOnce

Turn Drive images into social posts

Choose an image from Google Drive, import it into PostOnce, and review your post before scheduling.

Import from Google Drive

Requires access to the PostOnce composer and a Google Drive connection with permission to download your image. Normal plan and posting limits apply. This connection is shared with Drive backups.

Import your first image

  1. Step 1

    Open a new post

    In the PostOnce composer, choose Google Drive. Select your existing Drive connection, or connect your Google account and return to the composer.

  2. Step 2

    Choose one image

    Open Google Picker and select one PNG or JPG image, up to 20 MB. Your original Drive file stays unchanged.

  3. Step 3

    Save and check your draft

    Wait for the upload to finish, add your caption, and save to drafts. Reopen the draft to check the image and caption before selecting publishing destinations.

Your Drive image, ready for review

Choose an image you keep in Google Drive and bring it into your PostOnce composer. Wait for PostOnce to upload its own copy before saving. Your saved draft uses that attachment, not a temporary Picker preview. Importing an image does not publish a post.

Which files can I import?

Choose one PNG or JPG image up to 20 MB (20 MiB). Videos, Google Docs, folders and bulk imports are not supported in this flow.

What access do I need?

Use a PostOnce account with access to the post composer and a Google Drive account that can download the selected image. Your normal plan, posting and account limits still apply; this setup uses your Google connection rather than a PostOnce API key.

Does this change my Drive backups?

Image import uses the same Google Drive connection as PostOnce backups. Disconnecting or reconnecting that account also affects backup access. Importing an image does not enable backups, monitor a folder or automatically publish files.

What if Picker or the upload fails?

Allow the Google popup, check that your Drive connection is active, and choose the image again. If it remains unavailable, download the image yourself and use Upload files in the composer. Wait for the upload to finish before saving; an image still uploading is not a completed attachment.
