Dropbox + PostOnce

Turn Dropbox images into social posts

Choose an image from Dropbox, add it to your PostOnce draft, and review it before scheduling.

Import from Dropbox

Use your Dropbox account and a PostOnce account with access to the post composer. No API key or API-plan upgrade is needed.

Import your first image

  1. Step 1

    Open a new post

In the PostOnce composer, choose Dropbox from the image sources.

  2. Step 2

    Choose your image

Sign in to Dropbox in its chooser and select one PNG or JPG image, up to 20 MB.

  3. Step 3

    Save it for review

Wait for the upload to finish, add your caption, and save to drafts. Reopen the draft to check your image before choosing destinations.

Your image, ready for your next post

Bring an image you already keep in Dropbox into the same composer you use for your social posts. PostOnce uploads its own copy, so your saved draft keeps the image after the temporary Dropbox download link expires. Your original Dropbox file stays unchanged. Importing does not publish a post.

Which files can I import?

Choose one PNG or JPG image up to 20 MB. Videos, folders and bulk imports are not supported in this flow.

Do I need a particular PostOnce plan?

Dropbox import uses your normal access to the post composer. It does not require Public API access or a separate API key. Your existing posting and account limits still apply.

What if the chooser or upload fails?

Allow the Dropbox popup, then choose the image again. If a download link expires, reopen the chooser for a fresh selection. Wait for PostOnce to finish uploading before saving; an image still uploading is not a completed attachment.

Does this sync my Dropbox folder?

No. You select the image to import each time. PostOnce does not monitor your folder or automatically publish files added to Dropbox.
