Canva + PostOnce

Turn Canva designs into social posts

Import a Canva image page into PostOnce and review your post before scheduling. Direct import has limited access until Canva approves the public integration; manual export and upload remain available.

Import from Canva

Direct connection has limited access until Canva approves the public integration. You need access to the PostOnce composer and permission to export the Canva design. Normal plan and content-license limits apply. If connection is unavailable, export a PNG or JPG from Canva and use Upload files in PostOnce.

Import your first image

  1. Step 1

    Open Canva in the composer

Open a new PostOnce post and choose Canva. Direct connection has limited access until Canva approves the public integration. If your account has access, connect Canva and review the requested permissions. Otherwise, export your image from Canva and use Upload files in the composer.

  2. Step 2

    Choose a design and page

Select your design, choose one page and an available PNG or JPG format, then choose Import image. Canva account and content-license permissions determine which exports are available. Wait for image preparation and the PostOnce upload to finish.

  3. Step 3

    Save and review your draft

Add your caption and save an unpublished draft. Reopen it to check the saved image and caption before choosing destinations or scheduling. Importing an image does not publish it or change the original Canva design.

Your Canva design, ready for review

Bring one image page into your PostOnce composer and review it alongside your caption. PostOnce saves its own uploaded attachment; a preview or export still preparing is not a completed import. Powered by Canva.

Can everyone connect Canva directly?

Direct connection currently has limited access until Canva approves the public integration. Public review has not been submitted yet. This is not an approved Canva directory listing. If you cannot connect, download a PNG or JPG page using Canva’s export controls, then choose Upload files in PostOnce. This manual route does not require access to the direct integration.

What can I import?

Choose one PNG or JPG design page in a format Canva makes available for that design. Video, PDF, ZIP and bulk library imports are not supported. Your Canva account and content-license permissions still apply; PostOnce does not unlock paid assets or unavailable export formats.

Will changes in Canva update my saved post?

No. The imported image is a copy. Edit the original in Canva, then import the revised page if you want to change your PostOnce attachment. There is no live design sync or automatic publication.

What if connection or export fails?

Follow the displayed error, reconnect when requested, or choose a supported image format. You can also export a PNG or JPG yourself and use Upload files. Wait for the PostOnce upload to finish before saving, then reopen your draft to check the attachment.
