How to set up Facebook-to-Threads crossposting
Link your Facebook and Threads accounts via Meta's Accounts Centre: Facebook Settings > Accounts Centre > Connected Experiences > Sharing across profiles.
Once linked, when you create a Facebook text post, look for the Threads toggle before you publish and turn it on.
For a one-time share of an existing post, go to the post, tap Share, and select Threads from the options.
The post will appear on Threads with a 'via Facebook' attribution.
Note that Threads has a 500-character limit, so longer Facebook posts get truncated — worth editing the Threads version before it goes live.
Making Facebook content land well on Threads
